At RC Drift Qld, our team is a vibrant mix of personalities, skills, and passions, each contributing to the excitement and camaraderie of our community.
We are Just 7 RC Drift Enthusiasts located in South East Queensland who wanted to continue to have a great venue to drift at as well as with all of our friends and community while at the same time, grow this fantastic hobby of RC Drifting!
As a result, we have all invested personally to be able to provide a fully air-conditioned venue which we have set up for RC Drifting with 2 great tracks and plenty of facilities for us all to enjoy in comfort.
Everyone of us wants you to know that we welcome you to approach any of us at any time to ask questions or ask for help. We are all here to help in any way that we can!

Blair: The Rev Limiter Maestro
An avid RC drifter, Blair is known for his love of pushing the limits – both on the track and with his rev limiter. When Blair is driving, you’ll hear bursts of laughter echoing through the air, punctuated by the distinctive scream of his RC drift car as it tears past on the rev limiter. With Blair, it’s not just about winning – it’s about having the time of your life. Make no mistake, Blair is not only loved by everyone but also adds a huge amount of value to the team at RC Drift Qld. He will bend over backwards to help anyone, so don’t hesitate to introduce yourself and ask for help or advice!
Albert: The Wizard
Behind Albert’s quiet demeanor lies a wealth of technical knowledge and unparalleled driving skills. A true quiet achiever, Albert’s ability to consistently outmaneuver his competition is matched only by his dedication to the sport. It’s not just his steering skills but also strategy. If you can keep up with Albert and stay glued to his door, you know you’re among the best of the best drivers on the track. Albert works hard in the background, is our master track designer and like all the others is a very important member of the team.
Nelson: The Life of the Party
When Nelson is in the house, you can’t miss him. With his outgoing personality and infectious energy, he lights up the track with his presence. Beyond his larger-than-life persona, Nelson boasts impressive driving skills, technical knowledge and years of experience in the hobby. If there’s a new gadget that boasts to increase performance, Nelsons already got it and on the track testing! Whether he’s cracking jokes, tearing up the track, or lending a helping hand, Nelson is always at the heart of the action and a valued member of our team.
Kerry: The Top Bloke
Kerry is simply a top bloke. With his down-to-earth nature and friendly demeanor, he’s the kind of person everyone loves to be around. But don’t let his laid-back attitude fool you – Kerry is also a skilled RC drifter who knows how to navigate the track with finesse. Over the years, he’s accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience in the hobby. He’s always eager to share his insights with others. Whether he’s offering tips on perfecting your drifting technique or just cracking jokes and having a laugh, Kerry is an integral part of our team and community. Thanks to Kerry’s Builder skills, Kerry has done a lot of work on the fit out of our facilities that we all enjoy today!
Macky: The Master Craftsman
When it comes to building and painting RC drift car bodies, Macky is in a league of his own. His expertise goes beyond mere DIY projects; he is a true artist, specializing in airbrush painting that transforms RC body shells into works of art. Macky’s attention to detail is unparalleled – he doesn’t settle for decals; every aspect of his RC body shells, including liveries, is meticulously hand-painted to perfection. Whether you’re seeking inspiration for your own project or entrusting him to build and paint your body, Macky is the go-to person for breathtaking designs and flawless execution. Macky has achieved team drift trophy with 2 other players and also quietly achieved 2nd tier winner of last years Nezumi comp. He has over 20 years of RC experience. Macky has a great overall knowledge and is key to our success as part of our team.
Bailey: The Silent Achiever
Though he may be the youngest member of our team, Bailey’s expertise on the track speaks volumes. He’s been honing his skills since childhood, starting with All Wheel Drive Drift Cars before transitioning to counter steer RC drift cars and finally mastering Rear Wheel Drive RC Drift Cars. Don’t be fooled by his demeanor – Bailey knows how to drive and he’s not afraid to show it. Bailey recently made waves at a competition, challenging even a self confessed “Best Driver in Qld”. With his impressive performance, he gave competitors a run for their money, resulting in over five “One More Times” as judges struggled to decide. His skill behind the wheel is matched only by his friendly personality and willingness to lend a hand to fellow enthusiasts. We are proud to have him on the team.
Frank:
Frank has been an avid RC drifter for many years, sharing the passion and excitement of the sport with our team. Like Bailey, Nelson, and others, he started off with All Wheel Drive RC Drift Cars and progressed to Rear Wheel Drive Drift Cars. Frank loves nothing more than drifting and having lots of fun on the track. He loves all the fancy flashing lights on his cars. Additionally, he’s always willing to go out of his way to share any knowledge he has with fellow enthusiasts and new comers to the hobby. He loves his rotaries with a small collection of RX7 bodies for his Team Jordan Beast Mode Chassis with Active Toe as well as an S13 and Onevia on his Fantasy chassis. Frank believes it’s all about making friendships and lots of great memories. When you see him around, make sure you introduce yourself!
